Site 24b

Winkler’s Site 24b (the EDS Survey’s TJ-1) is located in the northern part of the Wadi Mineh.  Co-ordinates are provided in the EDS Survey Volume 1 (2000).  Rock art was apparently engraved here from the Predynastic to Coptic periods. Numerous pottery sherds litter the floor around the site.

My photographs from this site weren’t great, and I wouldn’t mind another go at it some time!
