The image shows a bovid which is tethered to a stone or stake, apparently about to be killed by a man with a bow and arrow.
The EDS inteprets this as a ritual killing (2000, p.103), but it could also be the scene of a herded animal being killed for other purposes.
It very much carries a sense of immediacy and action which it shares with rock art hunting scenes.
